Direct Access Capital, LLC (DAC), founded in 2016, is an investment management firm with a focus on specialty finance strategies, particularly in the residential real estate credit markets. Our goals are capital preservation, returns that consistently outperform those of other fixed income asset classes, and low correlation to public market indices.
High current income yields and short duration exposure allow us the flexibility to capitalize on market inflection points in any cycle, without funding and asset maturity asymmetries of traditional residential real estate credit funds. In addition to our primary strategies, we pursue event-driven credit opportunities resulting from historical anomalies in the residential real estate credit markets to deliver continuously compounding returns.
DAC is currently headquartered in Dallas, TX and relies on constant fundamental analysis and systematic price discovery in our areas of expertise. We drive unique insights through relentless examination of fundamental market assumptions and collaboration of truth focused teamwork.

Chief Investment Officer
Noah heads the strategy and execution of ABL correspondent and retail lending strategies. Prior to Direct Access Capital, he served as the CIO for Highbury Capital Management, a Pine River Capital Management portfolio company, where he focused on specialty finance and technology strategy. Noah served on the executive staff of Jordan Capital Finance to build a retail focused, private money originator. He also served for five years as the Chief Business Development Officer at Matt Martin Real Estate Management (currently Chronos Solutions).
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff has over 12 years of experience in operations, strategy, and the real estate industry. He previously worked at FedEx, managing key strategic initiatives and project managing key turnaround implementation activities. As the Real Estate Development Manager, he oversaw the opening of new stores and managed the process of developing a new store concept/format. Jeff studied management and economics at the University of Oklahoma and holds an MBA from SMU’s Cox School of Business.
EVP, Accounting & Finance
Amy is an experienced and dynamic financial leader. She has approximately 15 years of experience as a controller and manager in the financial services industry, across prominent private equity and fund administration companies focused on both domestic and international markets. Amy holds a BBA and MPA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University, and she is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Platform Director
Dr. James Linck is currently the Chair of the Finance Department, as well as the Distinguished Chair of Finance, at SMU Cox School of Business. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies, just to name a few. Prior to SMU, he was the BB&T scholar in finance at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
Platform Director
Ken Pearson serves as the Platform Director at the CBRE REO Asset Management Group. While working at CBRE, a national contractor for the FDIC, Pearson has worked in the management and disposition of real estate from over 100 failed financial institutions. Pearson specialized in real estate, with extensive experience in the financial sector as well as over 15 years experience in the legal field.
